THE ELIZABETH FANTASY

A favorite for
DP Kenneth Zunder who created the beautiful illusion of a royal court on the stage in front of
Molly’s house, with a stained glass window, a couple of flats and a fabulous chair.
Debra’s costume was made entirely of silk, from the ruffle down and embroidered with pearls, taking 7 days to create, but everyone agrees, the biggest work of art was the wig.

Make Up Artist
Julie Hewett achieved Debra’s snow-white complexion with authentic
Geisha make up imported from
Japan.

The court music had to be re-recorded and in an effort to save money, Executive Producer
Josann McGibbon suggested her brother play the recorder. Some of the crew had their doubts but brought him in anyway. All doubts immediately vanished the second
Jerram Swartz began playing the recorder he and his sister have been playing since childhood.
