THE FRENCH CONNECTION (#SW_107)
EPISODE PREMIERE: November 14, 2008
Felix finally returns from location and has not only blown off seeing Lola, but also wants to go out with Rodney...in public! Rodney invites Felix to Molly’s dinner party and much to Rodney’s surprise, Felix agrees without hesitation.

That night, the engagement party ends up being a total disaster for almost everyone involved. Molly won’t tell Zach why she’s angry at him; Rodney has unexpectedly shown up with Felix, meaning Molly, Zach and Liz have to pretend that there’s nothing going on other than a professional relationship between Rodney and the action star; and Liz, upset about her impending divorce from Devon, has just gone on a crazy spending spree with her husband’s credit cards at the suggestion of her shark divorce attorney. Worst of all, when Molly meets Lou’s fiancée, Molly suspects that Alizee isn’t really a French-born beauty who ran her family’s multi-million dollar perfume company. Molly is convinced that Alizee is actually Ann Hefton, her neighbor from years ago who grew up in Simi Valley. Then, when Felix hears that Lou is producing Othello, he excitedly launches into a strange and semi-embarrassing soliloquy to impress Lou, nearly suffocating Molly in the process. After everyone leaves—before dessert is even served—Molly tells Zach her suspicions about Alizee’s real identity, but Zach chides her for being too judgmental. Offended, Molly sends Zach home so she can take care of Liz, who’s about to go off the deep end.
