Joan McAllister

Now that Joan McAllister (Judy Davis) has gotten herself clean and sober, Pappy, her much older husband, has signed her up to work part-time at Destinies, the swanky rehab center she sprung herself from with Molly's help.

That wouldn't be so bad if her first client to pick up from the airport weren't David Shea, the dashingly handsome yet perpetually sloshed British actor who has just been arrested—again. But she'll do anything for Pappy since he stuck by her during her vodka-fueled behavior, even if it means chasing down runaway drunks. The question is: will he do what she needs to make her happy?
