STEPHANIE DAVIS
Manager/Producer Stephanie Davis began her entertainment career in the William Morris mailroom, after attending New York University's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, Cardozo School of Law and becoming admitted to both the New York and California Bar Associations.
Realizing Management/Production was her true calling, Ms. Davis left the agency world to pursue a career with independent producer Nick Wechsler, who was hot off a string of hits including THE PLAYER, SEX LIES AND VIDEOTAPE and DRUGSTORE COWBOY.
At Addis/Wechsler, Ms. Davis was involved in packaging filmmaker-client Kasi Lemmon's first film EVE'S BAYOU, starring Samuel L. Jackson, which garnered many awards including the Independent Spirit Award and a nod at the New York Board of Review.
In the late 90's, Ms. Davis headed to Michael Ovitz's Artists Management Group, where she spent several years running the literary department, overseeing the careers of filmmakers such as Sydney Pollack and Martin Scorcese. While at AMG, Davis also served as a producer on Lemmons' next film THE CAVEMAN'S VALENTINE, again starring Samuel L. Jackson.
In 2004, Ms. Davis landed at top management/production company 3 Arts Entertainment where in 2005 she teamed-up longtime client Gigi Levangie Grazer with longtime clients Sara Parriot and Josann McGibbon for this very special project, on which she also serves as Executive Producer.
A single mother of two children, Ms. Davis is thrilled and grateful to her talented clients for bringing this story to life and to be involved with this project whose themes touch so deeply on her life and on so many of the men and woman she holds close to her heart.
