I thought I had found my soulmate in my second husband. He became a father figure to my two boys. He acted as if we were the sun and moon. We moved from our home in Jacksonville to North Carolina so that he could start a business. I gave up an awesome job and left friends and family.

Within two years his business took off. He then started another business in Tennessee and we moved again. Within two months of moving and relocating me and my boys he came home from work stating that he didn't love me anymore and basically we were "holding" him back. He wanted me and the boys to move out and go back to Florida.

Two of my best friends, Steph and Kimber, drove up to Tennessee, helped me pack and move. My girlfriend, Kimber, even drove a 28-foot truck through mountains and through snow and she had NEVER driven anything that big before. I came back to Florida, got an apartment and started to get my life back on track. I took a position at a law firm as the senior partner's secretary. I lost 30 pounds and got my life back!

It took awhile to get over the pain but I'm here and life is awesome. I'm living my dream of going to real estate school and owning my own brokerage one day.
