The Ex Factor: With music in her blood, the daughter of American Rock Royalty, Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler, married Brit rocker Royston Langdon five years ago at a villa in the Caribbean. Together they had a son Milo, now three. But the music faded out last May when the couple announced their separation.

Wife Begins Again: Facing life as a single mom may be a little bit scary for the actress, but it seems like scary is working for her these days if her recent turns in thriller films are any indication. Just a few weeks after the announcement of her separation, “The Incredible Hulk” debuted, in which the actress plays the longtime love interest of Dr. Bruce Banner/the Hulk, played by Edward Norton. The film went on to become an international hit, spurring on talks of a sequel. There’s also talk of a sequel to “The Strangers,” the low-budget horror flick which came out a few weeks earlier to some noteworthy box office returns. Tyler seems to have a knack for attaching herself to profitable film franchises (“The Lord of the Rings” trilogy, anyone?), so no one would be too surprised if she did it again—twice.

Love Interest: Tyler lives a decidedly un-rocker-chick lifestyle in New York’s West Village, preferring to stay out of the limelight during her downtime. Given what seems like a mini-trend of musical marriages not lasting in the long run, perhaps having her son Milo as her diminutive standing date right now isn’t such a bad idea. At least she doesn’t have to worry about him going on tour without her.
