KATE HUDSON

Kate Hudson

The Ex Factor: The daughter of Goldie Hawn didn’t just play a groupie in her breakthrough film, “Almost Famous,” she also officially became one when she married Chris Robinson, the frontman for The Black Crowes, in 2000. After having a long-haired son together named Ryder, the couple disbanded their union in 2007.

Wife Begins Again: While she proved her box-office worthiness in “How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days” opposite Matthew McConaughey in 2002, Hudson has turned out several films since then to varying degrees of commercial success. The So-Cal native was, however, successful in finding a new temporary leading man—both literally and figuratively—in Owen Wilson, with whom she co-starred in the comedy “You, Me and Dupree” in 2006, but their romance didn’t last. She briefly dated cycling champ Lance Armstrong earlier this summer though she seems to be riding solo once again. But don’t feel bad for this wavy-haired beach babe: she has a new rom-com, “My Best Friend’s Girl,”  just hitting theaters and is about to start production on a high-profile film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical, “Nine,” opposite fellow A-Listers Nicole Kidman, Daniel Day-Lewis, Penélope Cruz, Judi Dench and Marion Cotillard.

Love Interest:The recent Cosmo cover girl confessed to the magazine that she “doesn’t have a specific type” of guy and that her taste in men “is kind of all over the place.” At a press conference for “My Best Friend’s Girl,” she told People magazine that she likes “to be surprised [with] something fun or something different” on dates. Eligible bachelors take note.
