Evan (Paulo Costanzo) is Hank's younger brother, an accountant who loves a good time and can talk his way into (almost) anything. Since he dreams of living more lavishly than his means will allow, his motto is "Fake it until you make it." When he first arrives in the Hamptons, he's a kid in a candy store: chatting up women and trying to worm his way into every high-society party. Despite his somewhat superficial aspirations, it is Evan who immediately recognizes the business potential of Hank becoming a concierge doctor in the Hamptons and sets up the HankMed practice-installing himself as CFO, of course.
As the HankMed business grows, so does Evan. He proves himself to be a savvy businessman, a devoted brother, and the perfect yin to Hank's yang. But after making a bad investment with the company funds, Evan almost loses Hank's trust for good. It takes some time to build back Hank's confidence but Evan succeeds in convincing his brother that he has learned his lesson. Perhaps falling in love with and getting engaged to the adorable Paige has helped him become more of a man-at least a little bit. But his soon-to-be-married status has only added fuel to the fire of his financial striving, which could ultimately be the wedge that drives the brothers apart for good.
