Divya (Reshma Shetty is a practical, efficient, and ambitious young woman who would rather be Hank's physician assistant than do what her family thinks is appropriate for a young lady of her socio-economic status: attend polo matches, plan charity events, and go through with her arranged marriage to childhood friend, Raj.

Despite loving every minute of working at HankMed, Divya decides she still must fulfill her obligation and sets the wheels in motion. When there are just one too many signs that her destiny is not in London with Raj, she calls off the wedding at the last minute. She gains her freedom, but in doing so she ruins her relationship with her parents, who completely cut her off as a result of what they see as her shameful actions. She also finds herself in deep debt when Raj informs her that his parents demand to be repaid for the money they lost planning the wedding.

Ever resourceful, Divya takes on a second job at Hamptons Heritage but doesn't tell Hank. Her desperation begins to lead her down some dangerous paths, which put the thing she loves the most-her job at HankMed-in serious jeopardy. After discovering Divya's predicament, Evan helps Divya out of her financial hole. But saving Divya means crossing Hank, which could lead to the end of HankMed for all three of them.
