Can't get enough Shawn and Gus. My fiancé and I have actually gotten into the uncontrollable habit of bumping fists when funny or awesome things happen in everyday life. We have fantasy hockey teams and whenever we get goals and assists we will bump fists to celebrate. I have actually gotten people randomly to participate also; family, friends, co-workers, doesn't matter. It always catches them off guard, but, then, makes them smile. And that to me is what it is all about.
I would have to say by far my favorite Psych moment is in "Earth to Starbucks" when Gus is trying to act stealth and goes to the space center and it turns out that Shawn is working at the desk. When Shawn picks up that phone and says, "The Jackel has arrived," I just bust a gut. Every time. We have season one on DVD and every time I watch that episode I replay it and replay it again. That whole episode though, it is the little things in that show that these amazing actors do that make it so great. The way that James Roday has become Shawn Spencer. That role was written for him. There is no doubt in my mind that he has put a lot of himself into the character and that is what makes Shawn so lovable and charming.
There are so many shows out there anymore that are crude and so full of nudity and foul language that it is so honestly refreshing that there is a way to spend a Friday night at home with my loved one, watching our favorite family-friendly and incredibly witty and well executed show. The level of humor and interaction of characters is so amazing, I just can't wait to see what happens next!!!
