WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO HOST
NASHVILLE STAR?

I'm so excited about co-hosting Nashville Star with my brother, Cowboy Troy!

I'm at a point in my career in which it feels like it's time to be aware of what we are doing to help along the next generation. Just as Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette and Dolly Parton have been for me, both personally and professionally, so must it be our roles to positively influence the next generations of singer-songwriters.

The fact that Bonnie Raitt has given me the wisdom that she has given me, and all of these women have taken the time to tell me that I am special, made a huge impact on my life.

Therefore, I realize it's my turn.

It's important for me to begin this journey by helping the next generation. Nashville Star is an excellent opportunity for me to step into the role of mentor-friend for these folks hoping that their dreams will also come true!
