BIO: Tamika began singing at the age of 10 at the weekend market in her native Coffs Harbour, a surfing and resort town on the Pacific north of Sydney. After a stint as one half of the pop duo The Chiquee Babes, Tamika took some time off, then returned to the industry determined to begin a career as a solo performer and songwriter. She was nominated for and won a number of prestigious Australian music industry awards. She scored three #1 songs in Australia, along with several top 10 hits that continue to get airplay in Australia and Europe. Tamika moved to Colorado with her husband, a rocket scientist, in 2000. When not performing or chasing her three-year-old son around the house, Tamika relaxes with her family and their horses on their 45-acre ranch.
