Lisa V. Chris was the first contestant since Buddy whose CD I couldn't wait to get when it came out. And I was not disappointed! I bought... well, let's just say way more than the average person, as I ran contests to give away the CD's. Because of Chris I also found the USA Message Board. That in turn has lead to some close friendships that wouldn't have been made if not for Nashville Star and Chris Young. In addition, I have traveled numerous miles and hours alone just to see Nashville Star and then Chris (once the tour was over), and in all kinds of weather. One concert was so hot you could hardly breathe, and another concert was so cold I thought we were all going to have frostbite by the end of the show! Would I do it again? Without hesitation! I'm headed to Nashville for New Year's Eve, again to see Chris Young. I've become a member of his Street Team and Fan Club (I just renewed after only six months into my original subscription). I have had so much fun and met so many Nashville Star fans and Chris Young fans. I actually have an online folder that has all the sites to vote and support Chris (CMT, GAC, polls, etc). I do this on a daily basis, as I truly believe that Chris has "IT" which is what's needed to be successful in country music today. I've even learned how to make banners — which is something I've never been able to do — for Chris! One of my biggest thrills was having my letter published in Country Weekly a couple of months ago, and yes, it was about Chris Young! Chris has a bright future ahead of him, thanks to his incredible voice and to Nashville Star. I look forward to continuing my association with Chris, his Street Team, his fan club and Nashville Star.
