ABOUT THE SHOW

The one-hour police drama Nash Bridges follows the high-action exploits of San Francisco police officer Nash Bridges (Don Johnson), a skilled inspector working with the S.F.P.D.'s elite Special Investigators Unit (S.I.U.). Nash must rely on street-wise instincts, a keen sense of humor, and a whole lot of charm to work his magic on the streets of the city.

Always at Nash's side is wisecracking partner Joe Dominguez (Cheech Marin), who struggles to balance his partnership with Nash with his life as a husband and father, as well as with his preoccupations with the latest get rich quick schemes. Rounding out Nash's team of intrepid S.I.U. detectives are officers Harvey Leek (Jeff Perry), a dedicated counterculture member and Grateful Dead fan who is a computer and surveillance expert, and Evan Cortez (Jaime Gomez) a gifted investigator who is often compared with Nash in his younger days (and who is also gifted at picking up women).

While Nash deserves his reputation as a top-notch cop, he isn't always quite as successful in his personal life. Away from the force, Nash must juggle the twin responsibilities of fathering his teenage daughter Cassidy (Jodi O'Keefe), and taking care of his father Nick (James Gannon), who is also his roommate.
