Abby [My daughter has been watching Monk for 2 years. Ever since she was introduced to the show, she has been a huge fan. This series relates to all ages. It is nice to watch a show that is both funny and smart. Many shows only try to reach our base instinctual humor. I love the subtlety of the relationships between characters and the high quality of writing. Keep up the good work! Abby's Mom – Randi] Hi! My name is Abby and I’m 12 years old and I live in South Dakota. I love the show Monk! My aunt told me about the show, and my mom and I have been watching it ever since. I have 1 brother who watches the show sometimes. I have all 4 seasons of Monk and I watch them over and over again. One of my favorite episodes is Mr. Monk and the Kid because they have a lot in common and Monk doesn’t really have any family to lean on. I also love the episode when Mr. Monk goes to the dentist. I like to see Monk’s reaction at the dentist and how Randy acts in this episode. I don’t have the things that Monk has but I do like things to be clean. Tony Shalhoub is a good actor and I love a lot of the other things he has been in. I miss Sharona because she is a good actress but I really like Natalie a lot too. What I like about Captain Stottlemeyer is that he gets upset with Monk a lot but I know deep down that he has a soft spot. I like the ups and downs of the show because the happy and sad parts make it more real. I like it because it applies not only to adults but to other ages too. Some day I hope to meet Tony Shalhoub!
