Hello everyone…my name is Sarah and I’m an 18 year old freshman in college. I’ve been watching Monk since it premiered, and have become a huge fanatic.
When I moved into college in the fall I was devastated to discover the dorms didn’t get USA Network, or cable for that matter. But with a little help from the online episodes and trips home on the weekends, I always make sure I’m caught up on Monk’s newest adventures.
My absolute favorite episode ever is “Mr. Monk and the Three Pies”. Although it’s kind of old, I never get sick of it because it’s so entertaining. The excitement of the bicentennial fair along with meeting Ambrose for the first time, definitely make this my all-time favorite.
A few weeks ago I decided to go to the movies, a trip I thought would be like any other. That soon changed as I approached the concession stand and soon noticed that a Monk advertisement adorned all the popcorn bags. Although I hadn’t planned on getting popcorn, my decision quickly changed. Now with the bag proudly displayed on my dorm tack board, I’m satisfied with knowing it serves no other purpose than to remind me of my favorite show. I hope the show continues to be successful, I don’t know of any other that compares.
