My name is Siobhan. I have been a Monk fan for more than a year!

My story could be long, but I will make it brief! Last year I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease, which is cancer of the lymphoid. It was caught early & I underwent chemotherapy treatment for 7 months.

During this time, I had to stay home a lot and rest. This relaxation lead into me becoming a couch potato! I'm not much of a TV watcher, but I started to watch Monk.

I can't tell you how the sides of my jaws hurt from laughing so hard the first night that I watched my first episode, which is my favorite "Mr. Monk and the Sleeping Suspect". After that, I was hooked! I went out immediately after that and purchased the DVD collection & haven't missed a show since!

There were some times during the treatment that I would get very depressed, but just thinking about Adrian and Harold fight over the magazine rack in the doctors office would leave me in stitches!

I don't expect to be the Monk Fan Of the Week, but I just wanted to tell you and thank you from the bottom of my heart for putting some sunshine into a dark period of my life. I am proud to say I am a Monk fan & a cancer survivor as well!!
