My name is Tami. I was the fourth person to register a screen name at the new USA Network Message Board. I'm not only the Monk Fan of the Week, I'm the fan of the Month, Year and Series! I must be since the Writers and Producers go out of their way to write things into the show just for me to enjoy! Episode after episode, TPTB have included things like:

• Bowling ("Mr. Monk Goes to the Office") ~~ My Hubby bowls in a league


• Psychics ("Mr. Monk and the Psychic") ~~ kinda self-explanatory.


• Las Vegas ("Mr. Monk Goes to Vegas") ~~ We're leaving for Vegas on the 4th of July and we go twice a year!


• Stottlemeyer singing Karaoke ("Mr. Monk Goes to Vegas") ~~ I go to Karaoke Night almost every weekend and Stottlemeyer is my favorite character on the show!


• Baseball ("Mr. Monk Goes to the Ballgame") ~~ I love baseball!


• The Color Purple ~~ Any time any cast member wears something purple in an episode, I know that's just for me!


• Sharon Lawrence (Mr. Monk, Private Eye" upcoming in Season Five) ~~ Ms. Lawrence has been my favorite actress for a long, long time and I'm thrilled she's going to portray Stottlemeyer's new "love interest"! Speaking of Stottlemeyer ...


• Ted Levine! TPTB have already made me the Monk Fan of the Week/Month/Year by including Ted Levine in the cast! I was overjoyed (and laughed until it hurt) to see him perform the infamous interrogation scene in "Mr. Monk and the Panic Room" ~~ my Sis-In-Law made me the Sock Monkey (in the upper/right corner of my photo) because I love that scene so much! Ted's also in one of my very favorite movies of all times: 'The Silence of the Lambs', which has been one of my very favorite movies ever since I first saw it in the theater when it first came out ...

I guess all that doesn't make me a great candidate for the honor of "MONK Fan of the Week" ~~ but I am already the "Luckiest MONK Fan in the World"! (See the thread: "Welcome Aboard the MONK MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR BUS!" at the USA Network message board for MONK)!

My favorite Monk Phobia: Nakedish people! ("Vegas" and "Fashion Show") LOL!

My favorite mystery? When the obvious suspect (apparently) had to have been in two places at once to commit the murder: "Dale the Whale"; "Marathon Man"; "Back to School"; "Sleeping Suspect"; "Astronaut"; etc.
