Over the past eight years it has grown to crowds of forty thousand plus. Knowing how Monk hates crowds,germs,close quarters,etc. I thought it would be fun to take him out into this environment and see how he held up under the pressure.All thing being UNequal, he did pretty well. Not only is our city divided by two states, VA/TN, but it is the Birthplace of Country Music (Monk loves Willie Nelson!) and the home to the worlds fastest half mile racetrack Bristol Motor Speedway which attracts over 160,000 people and lots of trash!!! I hope to take Monk to a race in the future and I'll document his reactions and forward them on to you! Meanwhile enjoy "Monk and his Bluegrass Roots!!!"
