Todd Newton - Host
Todd Newton hosts the new USA Network original reality/competition series Made in the USA.
Newton is perhaps best-known to audiences as the former "Voice of E!" on E! Entertainment Television, where he hosted Coming Attractions, Talk Soup, E! News Live, and many of E!'s live events including red carpet arrivals at the Academy Awards, Emmy Awards, Golden Globes, and star-studded movie premieres. Newton has also hosted the Game Show Network's Whammy! The All New Press Your Luck, Hollywood Showdown, which aired on the Game Show Network and PAX, and Powerball Instant Millionaire, a game show with a grand prize of $1 million. Newton also co-hosted the 2001 Miss Universe Pageant, which was seen by more than one billion people worldwide.
Newton began his career behind a radio microphone in St. Louis, where he became the No. 1 nighttime contemporary hits personality at WKBQ-FM after previously being heard on HOT 97 FM. Newton later moved to Los Angeles, where fans know him from KIIS-FM and the nationally-syndicated "All Night Cafe." He has been featured in Entertainment Weekly, USA Today, Glamour, Seventeen, USA Weekend, St. Louis Magazine, Media Week, Advertising Age, and numerous newspapers.
Newton is an avid supporter of animal welfare and works to promote animal rescue. He also volunteers as a boy's basketball coach and has been active in the anti-drug program D.A.R.E. for which he speaks regularly at schools about the importance of self-esteem and affects of drug abuse.
A St. Louis native, Newton now lives in Los Angeles with his wife and their two children.
