Hydromax System

Chris Spenser and Sammy Davis are good friends and business partners from Houston, Texas. Along with another childhood friend, Carl Henderson, they are the founders of a Houston based product design company, WN Custom Design, LLC, also know as “Whutz Next.” This company aims to manufacture new products that provide logical and creative solutions to everyday problems.

One such invention is the Hydromax System. Both Chris and Sammy grew up as competitive athletes, and Sammy is now a starting defensive back for the San Diego Chargers while Chris was drafted after high school and again during college in the Major League Baseball draft. As athletes, they always realized the need to supply water directly to players during games and practice, and the number of on-field deaths in recent years has added further validity to their belief.

Chris Spenser: I graduated from San Francisco State University and I graduated from Humble High School in Humble, Texas.

What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
CS: My favorite ice cream is pecan pralines and cream

What is your favorite invention?
CS: The light bulb
SD: The refrigerator

Who is your hero?
CS: My family, because they raised me, guided me the right direction, and provided me with a good chance to become successful.
SD: My father.

What are your favorite hobbies?
CS: Working out, golf, and activities that incorporate a mix of creativity and sweat. For example, I love to build things from scratch.
SD: Arcade games and movies

Are you married? Do you have any children? If so, what are their names?
CS: I am not married. I am 6' 3" 230 and 24 years old and single!
SD: Yes - my wife is Krystal, and I have one daughter, Taylor.

CS: Five pit bulls named Smokey, Deacon, Ridlen, Pope, and Java
SD: No pets
