Nichole Hiltz stars as Brandi Shannon in the fourth season of the hit USA Network original series IN PLAIN SIGHT, which premieres on its NEW night, Sunday, May 1 at 10/9c.
Hiltz was raised in Hanover, Massachusetts and moved to Boston to pursue acting at the age of 17. After working with the Farrelly Brothers' (she was a stand-in for Renee Zelleweger in "Me, Myself and Irene"), she quickly moved to L.A. There she studied her craft acting in commercials and music videos. Hiltz then got cast in a series of feature films starting with "Shallow Hal" and "Dude, Where's My Car?" followed by "Austin Powers in Goldmember" and "Somethings Gotta Give," holding her own with Jack Nicholson. This led to guest stars and recurring roles on "The Shield," "CSI," "NYPD Blue," "Smallville," "Cold Case," "The O.C." and finally a lead in "Strong Medicine: First Response," a spinoff of the hit Lifetime series, where her role garnered her attention as a woman of courage and conviction for her patients.
Dan Akroyd described Hiltz as a mix of "Bill Murray, Punky Brewster and Michelle Pfeiffer all wrapped in one," who happens to play the drums and kick boxes as well.
Hiltz did a three-episode stint on "Desperate Housewives" and her role as Ginny, the pregnant self-proclaimed psychic traveler on FX's "The Riches" continued to demonstrate her versatility and true emotional depth.
Hiltz also appeared in "Trailer Park of Terror" (based on the cult comic book) at the 2008 Slamdance Film Festival.
