Captain

Dapper and good-natured, William Hannah was recently promoted to Captain of the Major Case Squad. A friend of Goren's since his Narcotics days, it was Hannah who asked the troubled detective to come back to MCS and reunite with his longtime partner once again.

Hannah possesses an easy authority and affable demeanor, and has a buddy-buddy relationship with most of the detectives. But don't let his humorous side fool you; Hannah expects, and gets, results. Still, he may not let Goren slide on missing mandatory psychiatric appointments, but in the end he's a powerful ally and someone who will be sympathetic to the eccentric detective's particular brand of police work.
