Eligibility: The Law & Order: Criminal Intent Ultimate Fan Sweepstakes ("Promotion") is open only to persons who, at the time of entry, are legal residents of, and are physically present in, the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam and the US Virgin Islands) and who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. Employees of USA Network, NBC Universal, Inc., SinglePoint, The PromoEdge, and any and all advertising and promotion agencies or administrators involved with this Promotion, and their subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates and related companies, the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of such employees are not eligible to participate or win. By entering the Promotion, participants are bound by and agree to these Official Rules. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
Sponsor: The Sponsor of the Promotion is USA Network, 30 Rockefeller Plaza, 21st Floor, New York, NY 10112. The administrator of the Promotion is USA Network (the "Sponsor").
Promotion Period: The Promotion begins at 9:59 PM (ET) on Thursday, October 4, 2007 and ends at 11:59PM (ET) on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 (the "Promotion Period").
How to Enter: This Promotion consists of individual weekly promotions (each, a "Weekly Promotion") and one (1) Grand Prize Promotion ("Grand Prize Promotion"). The Weekly Promotion will begin during each first run episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent (the "Show") broadcast during each week of the Promotion Period (check local listings for dates and times when first run episodes of the Show, if any, will be aired) and will end the following Wednesday at 11:59 pm (ET) (each, a "Weekly Promotion Period"). (The total number of Weekly Promotion Periods will equal the number of first run episodes of the Show broadcast throughout the Promotion Period.) At a predetermined time in the broadcast viewers will be invited to answer a weekly question ("Weekly Question"). All viewers who respond to such an invitation (a "Promotional Spot Invitation") by answering a Weekly Question will be entered into that respective week's Weekly Prize Drawing ("Weekly Prize Drawing") as well as the Grand Prize Drawing, regardless of whether the answer to the Weekly Question is correct. The Weekly Question will also be posted on ci.usanetwork.com (the "Website").
How To Enter by Cell Phone: If you have a text messaging capable cell phone from a participating carrier, you may enter each Weekly Drawing and the Grand Prize by answering the Weekly Question, once prompted to do so during a Promotional Spot Invitation, by subscribing to the Law & Order: Criminal Intent Mobile Program by texting "LOCI" to the short code USATXT and answering the Weekly Question once it is sent to your cell phone ("Invitational Text Message") with your response to the Weekly Question from the letter choices that will be presented with the Weekly Question. (The Weekly Question will also be posted on the Website.) For example, you will be sent the Invitational Text Message with the Weekly Question and you will answer back with the letter corresponding to your answer to the Weekly Question that is posed. For each response to a Weekly Question submitted via text messaging, you will receive one (1) entry into that respective week's Weekly Prize Drawing to select ten (10) Weekly Winners (i.e., for that week) and one (1) entry into the Grand Prize to select one (1) Grand Prize Winner. Once a Weekly Question has been posed during a first run episode of the Show or has been announced on the Website, viewers may answer the Weekly Question until 11:59 pm ET on the Wednesday following the first run episode of the Show in which the same Weekly Question was first posed. For example, if a first run episode of the Show airs on a Thursday night at 10:00pm, you may answer the Weekly Question from Thursday at the time the Weekly Question is announced (i.e., on-air and/or on the Website) through the following Wednesday at 11:59pm. You may unsubscribe to the Law & Order: Criminal Intent Mobile Program at any time by texting CIEND to USATXT.
Free Method of Entry Online: To enter the Promotion and the Weekly and Grand Prize Drawings without using a text messaging capable cell phone, visit ci.usanetwork.com and complete the online registration, including the letter for the answer to the Weekly Question you wish to submit. Once a Weekly Question has been posed during the first run of an episode of the Show or has been posted on the Website during the Promotion Period, viewers may answer the Weekly Question up until 11:59 pm ET on the Wednesday following the first run episode of the Show in which the same Weekly Question was first posed. For example, if a first run episode of the Show airs on a Thursday night at 10:00 pm, you may answer the Weekly Question from Thursday at the time the Weekly Question is announced (i.e., on-air and/or on the Website) through the following Wednesday at 11:59pm.
LIMIT ONE (1) ENTRY per cell phone/email address for each Weekly Question announced during the Promotion Period for a total number of entries not exceeding the number of first run episodes of the Show during the Promotion. For example, if ten (10) first run episodes of the Show are broadcast during the Promotion Period, the total number of permitted Entries for the Grand Prize Drawing during the entire Promotion Period would be ten (10). Regardless of the method of entry, you are limited to ONE (1) entry per email address/cell phone for each Weekly Promotion Period. Entries from the same person in excess of one for any Weekly Promotion Period will be disqualified.

USE OF COMPUTER PROGRAMS TO ENTER AND/OR OTHER AUTOMATIC ENTRY METHODS, (SUCH AS HACKS OR BOTS), REGARDLESS OF METHOD OF ENTRY IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify, and block or discard any text message or online entries from any individual who enters by any kind of electronic, mechanical or other automated means or otherwise tampers with or hacks the entry process as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. THIS IS OUTLINED MORE CLEARLY BELOW. Please note, by entering, you agree that if selected as the winner of the Grand Prize Drawing, Sponsor has the right (but not the obligation) to announce your name, home city, and state, and to air your voice live on-air during the Show. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost and/or incomplete text message or online entries, which will be disqualified.
Weekly Prize Drawing: Each Weekly Promotion will consist of one Weekly Prize Drawing (each, a "Weekly Prize Drawing"). Each Weekly Prize Drawing will be conducted by employees or representatives of Sponsor who will randomly pick ten (10) Weekly Prize Winners (i.e., ten (10) Weekly Winners per Weekly Prize Drawing) from among all eligible text and online entries received during the corresponding Weekly Promotion Period.
Grand Prize Drawing: A random drawing will be conducted on or about December 31, 2007 by employees or representatives of Sponsor who will randomly pick one (1) Grand Prize Winner from all eligible text message and online entries received during the Promotion Period. Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received.

Travel companion must complete a travel guest liability/publicity release prior to the Trip, or this portion of the Grand Prize may be forfeited. Grand Prize Winner's travel companion must be the age of majority in his or her state of residency or Grand Prize winner must be travel companion's parent or legal guardian and must complete and return all releases on behalf of minor. All travel and lodging will be at the risk of winner and travel companion. Sponsor shall have no responsibility or liability for cancellations and/or delays or any change by the air carrier(s), lodging facilities, or other company or any other persons providing any of components of the prize for the winner and his/her Guest due to reasons beyond Sponsor's control.
Grand Prize Winner is solely responsible for all expenses and costs associated with acceptance and/or use of the Grand Prize not specifically stated herein as being awarded, including, without limitation, any and all federal, state and local taxes, travel from winner's residence to and from airport, ground transportation, travel insurance, security and airport fees, taxes, insurance, gasoline, meals, gratuities, and souvenirs. Any depiction of prizes is for illustrative purposes only.
All federal, state and local taxes as well as any and all expenses (and/or any other incidentals not specifically mentioned herein) are winner's sole responsibility. Sponsor shall have the right, but not the obligation, to make any deductions and withholdings that Sponsor deems necessary or desirable under applicable federal, state and local tax laws, rules, regulations, codes or ordinances. All acceptance, receipt, and use of any prize will be at the risk of winner. All details of the prize to be determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, subject to availability and event exigencies. Sponsor reserves the right, for any reason, to substitute an alternate prize of comparable or greater value in its sole discretion. Prize cannot be transferred by winner or redeemed for cash and is valid only as detailed above, with no substitution of prize by winner. In the event that any prize component is not available for any reason, then remaining elements of prize shall constitute full satisfaction of Sponsor's prize obligation to winner and no additional compensation will be awarded. Entrants must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements.
Due to the nature of television, the broadcast dates and times of each first run episode of the Show (and, therefore, the entry and random drawing dates and times) are subject to change. In the event the Show is canceled prior to exhibition, the Promotion will terminate as of the date of cancellation and all Prizes will not be awarded. In the event the Show is cancelled or preempted after an episode of the Show is already airing, and/or in the event any portions of the Promotion are canceled, modified or suspended, the Grand Prize and remaining Weekly Prizes will not be awarded. Additionally (and without limiting the foregoing), if for any reason this Promotion is not capable of being run or implemented as planned, including, but not limited to, as the result of infection by computer viruses or bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or any other cause of any kind, which, in Sponsor's sole judgment, is likely to or actually corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, then Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend all or any part of the Promotion and any prize may not be awarded; except that Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to pick winner(s) in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received by Sponsor up until the time of such cancellation, termination, modification or suspension, as applicable.
Winner Notification: The potential Winners will be notified by phone and/or email. Sponsor/Sponsor's representatives will make ONLY two (2) attempts to contact any potential winner at the phone number or email address provided online or at the cell phone number used to enter within forty-eight (48) hours from the time of the winner selection. If Sponsor/Sponsor's representatives are unable to reach a potential winner via phone or email within this time frame, he/she will be disqualified and an alternate will be selected. The potential winner (or the parent/legal guardian if winner is a minor in his/her state of residence) will be required to execute and return a notarized affidavit of eligibility/release of liability and/or publicity release (where legal) within five (5) days of attempted delivery. If any potential winner cannot be contacted or any prize/prize notification is returned as undeliverable, if potential winner fails to sign and return the affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within the required time period (if required), potential winner will forfeit any prize even though his/her name may have been shown/announced publicly. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor may award the applicable prize to an alternate winner. Odds of winning a prize depend on number of eligible text message or online entries received. Potential winner agrees to cooperate with any and all inquiries by Sponsor regarding potential winner's participation in Promotion.
