Tricia Helfer stars as Carla in the USA Network original series BURN NOTICE, which premieres its second season on Thursday, July 10 at 10/9C.

She is starring opposite LeeLee Sobieski as Celeste in the feature film "Walk All Over Me," which was selected for the Toronto Film Festival). She began 2007 guest starring as Molly McNamara on "Supernatural" and as Naomi in the Fox pilot "Them."

Helfer can be seen in her fourth season of the Sci-Fi channel's highest-ever rated series "Battlestar Galactica," opposite Edward James Olmos and Mary McDonnell as the beautiful and brilliant "Number 6", a Cylon out to destroy the human race that created her. She continued the role in the television movie "Battlestar Galactica: Razor."

Helfer's other film credits include the Independent feature "Memory," as Stephanie Jacobs, a strikingly beautiful painter and love interest of Billy Zane's Dr. Taylor Biggs. Dennis Hopper and Ann-Margret also star. She played Leila Cole in "The Green Chain", a mockumentary; Sasha in the indy "Spiral", with David Joel Moore; General Kilian Qatar, in the video game "Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars"; and the lead role of Ally in the feature film "The Genius Club." She also produced and hosted "Canada's Next Top Model."

A former Victoria's Secret model, Helfer was born and raised in Alberta, Canada on the family grain farm. Discovered by a model scout, she was sent to New York where she quickly won the "Ford Supermodel of the World Contest" and signed with Elite Models. While gracing the pages of "Elle" and "Cosmopolitan," her numerous campaigns would include Ralph Lauren, Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana and Christian Dior.

Helfer discovered her acting ambitions at this time while serving as correspondent to Canada's "Ooh La La" Fashion Television. Within two years she would move to Los Angeles and take the role of Sarah, the protagonist's love interest, in the two-hour premiere of the Showtime series "Jeremiah." She then memorably portrayed a model with the self-destructive desire to cut off her own face on the hit series "CSI:;” perfectly captured Farrah Fawcett in NBC's MOW "Charlie's Angels;" and played the leading role of Eva in the feature "White Rush."
