Lawson Translation

In an attempt to get HankMed back in business, Evan heads to the Southampton Village Council to argue his case.  But it turns out that Evan never had a proper business license in the first place, and a new one can’t be processed for 72 hours.  What’s HankMed to do with all that free time?

Divya and Jeremiah head down to Savannah, Georgia to check out Symphony Health’s flagship hospital to see if the company is a good fit for HankMed.   They also take in a local baseball game, where they meet Tripp Doby, an aging player whose troubling medical condition could threaten his career.  Meanwhile, Divya, worried about her pregnancy, visits a specialist for advice and receives news that leads her and Jeremiah to bond in an unexpected way.

Evan and Paige make the best of the surprising 72-hour hiatus by spending the time together.  However, Evan’s attention is soon diverted when he discovers a loophole that will let him speak at the Village Council meeting after all.  But after his speech doesn’t go as planned, Evan makes a decision that could change his status in the Hamptons forever.

Hank, unable to practice medicine for three days, travels across the Atlantic to Budapest, Hungary to meet Boris’ cousin Milos.  Milos suffers from the same debilitating disease that afflicts Boris, and Hank offers to aid Milos in the search for a treatment.  Hank has little time to enjoy his European vacation, though, as he soon finds himself embroiled in a very dangerous game of cat and mouse...

About Royal Pains

USA Network is proud to announce the return of the Hamptons' best doctor-on-demand, Hank Lawson (Mark Feuerstein), in Royal Pains.

Once a rising star in the New York City medical community, Hank found himself out of work, dumped by his fiancée and out of options after a dustup with some hospital honchos. Fed up with Hank's personal pity-party, his younger brother, Evan (Paulo Costanzo), convinced Hank to join him on a last-minute trip to the Hamptons for Memorial Day weekend. When the brothers crashed a party at the home of a Hamptons billionaire and a guest fell critically ill, Hank saved the day. His dramatic medical rescue drew attention from the crowd, and soon Hank's phone started ringing off the hook with patients wanting Hank to make house calls.

By the end of the weekend, HankMed was born. With Evan as the company's CFO and the whip-smart, ambitious Divya (Reshma Shetty) as Hank's physician's assistant, Hank became the Hamptons' new in-demand Doctor-for-Hire. News travels fast on the East End, especially when it's about a talented young doctor with MacGyver-like skills who makes house calls. But the rich and powerful aren't the only ones seeking out HankMed's services; there are plenty of less well-off locals who need his help, too, and he's more than happy to lend a hand.

But after a few idyllic summers in the Hamptons, there are big changes in store for HankMed this season. Hank returns from his travels abroad with Boris (Campbell Scott), but realizes coming home isn’t always as easy as it seems. Evan and Paige (Brooke D’Orsay) grow stronger in their marriage thanks to the help of an unconventional therapist. Divya must find a way to balance the challenges of being a single-mom with her job at HankMed. HankMed’s newest doctor, Jeremiah Sacani (Ben Shenkman) realizes that having Divya and her baby stay with him isn’t going to be as easy as he thought. And when a mysterious young woman shows up at the guesthouse at the beginning of summer, she changes Hank and Evan’s lives forever. So as another summer heats up in the Hamptons, this season promises to be anything but a walk on the beach!
