Hank and the Deep Blue Sea

Royal Pains Hank And The Deep Blue Sea Episode Guide

It's time for Carlos Casseras Kuester Von Jurgens Ratinecz's christening and Boris asks Hank to be the baby's godfather, a somewhat scary proposition given the recent actions of Boris's "crazy, murderous" family, as Evan puts it. When Claudette, a cousin from the Von Jurgen side of the family, interrupts the christening proceedings with an olive branch in hand, Boris sends her away. But she's not giving up so easily. She asks Evan to deliver a mysterious package to Boris at exactly 5pm. Scared as to what the package contains, Evan immediately hands it off to Boris's security guards, even though he hopes that it's proof that Claudette comes in peace and not another attempt on Boris's life.

In town, Evan spies Divya and Raj having what looks like a moment together over coffee. Curiosity piqued, Evan confronts Divya but she's characteristically tightlipped about what's going on between her and her ex. So Evan asks Raj to meet him and manages to find out about Divya's debt to Raj's family. Suddenly, so many strange things about Divya's behavior over the last several weeks become clear. Evan wants to help her... but first he has to convince her to let him.

After not being able to track down or reach Jack, who's still out fishing, Hank has a hunch that Jill is with him and leaves her urgent messages about Jack's condition. By the time Jill gets their boat back to shore, Jack is in much worse shape than Hank or Nina feared. The team springs into action and calls for a Medevac to airlift him to the hospital. Will Jack pull through or has his avoidance cost him his life?

About Royal Pains

USA Network is proud to announce the return of the Hamptons' best doctor-on-demand, Hank Lawson (Mark Feuerstein), in Royal Pains.

Once a rising star in the New York City medical community, Hank found himself out of work, dumped by his fiancée and out of options after a dustup with some hospital honchos. Fed up with Hank's personal pity-party, his younger brother, Evan (Paulo Costanzo), convinced Hank to join him on a last-minute trip to the Hamptons for Memorial Day weekend. When the brothers crashed a party at the home of a Hamptons billionaire and a guest fell critically ill, Hank saved the day. His dramatic medical rescue drew attention from the crowd, and soon Hank's phone started ringing off the hook with patients wanting Hank to make house calls.

By the end of the weekend, HankMed was born. With Evan as the company's CFO and the whip-smart, ambitious Divya (Reshma Shetty) as Hank's physician's assistant, Hank became the Hamptons' new in-demand Doctor-for-Hire. News travels fast on the East End, especially when it's about a talented young doctor with MacGyver-like skills who makes house calls. But the rich and powerful aren't the only ones seeking out HankMed's services; there are plenty of less well-off locals who need his help, too, and he's more than happy to lend a hand.

But after a few idyllic summers in the Hamptons, there are big changes in store for HankMed this season. Hank returns from his travels abroad with Boris (Campbell Scott), but realizes coming home isn’t always as easy as it seems. Evan and Paige (Brooke D’Orsay) grow stronger in their marriage thanks to the help of an unconventional therapist. Divya must find a way to balance the challenges of being a single-mom with her job at HankMed. HankMed’s newest doctor, Jeremiah Sacani (Ben Shenkman) realizes that having Divya and her baby stay with him isn’t going to be as easy as he thought. And when a mysterious young woman shows up at the guesthouse at the beginning of summer, she changes Hank and Evan’s lives forever. So as another summer heats up in the Hamptons, this season promises to be anything but a walk on the beach!
