After The Fireworks

Royal Pains After The Fireworks Episode Gallery

With the fight between Hank and Evan still fresh, Hank has already enlisted Jill to help him set up a new concierge practice while Evan is busy interviewing doctors to fill Hank's position, including Van Dyke. Feeling responsible for the rift between the Lawson brothers and desperately not wanting her chosen family to be divided, Divya tries to help Hank and Evan bury the hatchet and put HankMed back together again, but it isn't going to be easy. This time, the wounds are far more than superficial.

With the annual Harborfest in full swing-something Jill's family has always enjoyed together-she is feeling torn about her decision to resign from Hamptons Heritage to go work in Uruguay. It doesn't help that her oldest brother Ernie starts displaying some strange symptoms and is insisting on competing in the Hamptons Harborfest Lobster Roll Eat-Off to keep the title from being stolen by an outsider ringer, Rosie Novak. But given that Rosie's training is being interrupted by nausea and vomiting, her victory is hardly in the bag. While Divya treats Rosie and Hank helps Jill attend to Ernie, Evan promotes the "new and improved" HankMed to the Harborfest patrons in the hopes of drumming up new business, which doesn't help Divya's cause. Even Divya explaining to Hank that Evan's buying out her shares was not to get leverage over Hank doesn't convince Hank that he and Evan should be in business together-their philosophies are just too different.

But when the Harborfest fireworks take a scary turn that evening, the only person Hank is worried about is his little brother...

About Royal Pains

USA Network is proud to announce the return of the Hamptons' best doctor-on-demand, Hank Lawson (Mark Feuerstein), in Royal Pains.

Once a rising star in the New York City medical community, Hank found himself out of work, dumped by his fiancée and out of options after a dustup with some hospital honchos. Fed up with Hank's personal pity-party, his younger brother, Evan (Paulo Costanzo), convinced Hank to join him on a last-minute trip to the Hamptons for Memorial Day weekend. When the brothers crashed a party at the home of a Hamptons billionaire and a guest fell critically ill, Hank saved the day. His dramatic medical rescue drew attention from the crowd, and soon Hank's phone started ringing off the hook with patients wanting Hank to make house calls.

By the end of the weekend, HankMed was born. With Evan as the company's CFO and the whip-smart, ambitious Divya (Reshma Shetty) as Hank's physician's assistant, Hank became the Hamptons' new in-demand Doctor-for-Hire. News travels fast on the East End, especially when it's about a talented young doctor with MacGyver-like skills who makes house calls. But the rich and powerful aren't the only ones seeking out HankMed's services; there are plenty of less well-off locals who need his help, too, and he's more than happy to lend a hand.

But after a few idyllic summers in the Hamptons, there are big changes in store for HankMed this season. Hank returns from his travels abroad with Boris (Campbell Scott), but realizes coming home isn’t always as easy as it seems. Evan and Paige (Brooke D’Orsay) grow stronger in their marriage thanks to the help of an unconventional therapist. Divya must find a way to balance the challenges of being a single-mom with her job at HankMed. HankMed’s newest doctor, Jeremiah Sacani (Ben Shenkman) realizes that having Divya and her baby stay with him isn’t going to be as easy as he thought. And when a mysterious young woman shows up at the guesthouse at the beginning of summer, she changes Hank and Evan’s lives forever. So as another summer heats up in the Hamptons, this season promises to be anything but a walk on the beach!
