Kimmewah Kup
S2 episode 6 Aired on August 25, 2015

Maggie and Emma pack the car up for a weekend at the lake house, Maggie struggling to pull Emma away from Rabbi Dan. Emma just can’t get enough of him the past few weeks. She’s even getting into his favorite type of music, jam bands!

The best friends arrive at the cabin to find everything just as it was growing up… and Maggie has a surprise; she’s entered them in the Kimmewah Kup, the annual paddleboat race they used to compete in as kids. This is their chance to finally beat the Custerman twins, a pair of snappy dressed, notorious Kimmewah Kup cheaters.

The girls run into the twins at a cocktail party that afternoon. Emma is about to put them in their place when she gets a call from Dan, leaving Maggie to battle the twins herself. Maggie is tired of Dan’s phone calls every five minutes. He might as well be there! Back at the cabin, Maggie’s wish comes true. A knock at the door reveals… DAN! Maggie is frustrated that their girls weekend is ruined but tries to roll with it.

The next morning, Emma and Dan show up to help clean the paddle boat later than promised, forcing Maggie to fend off the twins again, out for their morning jog. Finally Maggie, Emma and Dan get the boat in the water, but what is supposed to be a test run ends up in Emma and Dan taking off for a romantic afternoon of touring the lake, leaving Maggie behind.

Having had enough, Maggie confronts Emma when she returns. This was supposed to be a girls weekend! Maggie charges to the boat to take a turn herself… only to discover it missing! Emma and Dan realize they forgot to tie it up when they returned. Now in an exchange for rescuing their boat, Emma and Maggie must take a dip in the Custerman twin’s jacuzzi with them. It’s there they learn the twin’s father just passed and this year they are racing in his honor.

The day of the race, Maggie and Emma resolve to let the twins win and instead enjoy a nice glass of wine while they paddle, that is until Dan calls informing them that the twin’s father is alive and well. Maggie is suddenly thankful Dan is there and orders Emma to paddle full speed ahead; they have to destroy these cheaters once and for all!
