Darryl Freehorn

Darryl Freehorn (Mather Zickel) is the star of the Canadian Secret Service ... yes, they have one too.

Despite the fact that the agency is perpetually underfunded and CSS agents have fewer toys at their disposal than their CIA, KGB and MI-5 counterparts, Darryl is the one who always saves the day.

Unfortunately, Darryl never gets credit for saving the day because no one even knows the CSS exists. Frustrated by having to account for nickel and dime expenses while others bask in his spotlight, Darryl is always one step away from quitting.

Compounding Darryl's inferiority complex is the fact that he has always lived in the shadow of his deceased father, CIA super agent Jake Freehorn, who single-handedly saved the world on too many occasions to count.

While Darryl might not have the suave personality and international profile his father once had, he brings an astute perspective on global politics and the human condition to his work.
