Mather Zickel

Mather Zickel stars as secret service agent Darryl Freehorn on the USA Network movie UNDERFUNDED, which premieres Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at 10/9C.

Zickel, a New York native, burst onto the scene with his uncanny, memorable portrayal of Bill Murray in the ABC movie "The Gilda Radner Story." He also starred in the Comedy Central hit "Reno 911!" from 2004-2005. Other credits include "Stella" created by Michael Ian Black and the short film "Lighten Up" which was in competition at this year's Sundance Film Festival.

He recently completed filming on "The Ten" about the Ten Commandments starring opposite Paul Rudd and Wynonna Ryder and "Balls Of Fury," starring Christopher Walken.

Zickel is currently shooting the role of legendary Yankee's outfielder Lou "Sweet Lou" Piniella, in the landmark ESPN miniseries "The Bronx is Burning," starring opposite John Turturro.

He lives in both New York and Los Angeles.
