Owen Barnaby

Owen Barnaby (Brian Howe) is the division head of the underfunded and understaffed Canadian Secret Service.

In this capacity, Barnaby has many responsibilities and the ones that Barnaby thinks are the most important are anything involving money: paying the heating bill, reviewing expenses, ordering supplies.

The buck stops with Barnaby. Literally.

But Barnaby is more than just a penny-pincher. Although it sometimes feels like he is working for (instead of with) the CIA, he serves as a liaison to the American agency on joint ventures.

When there's a big case involving the ally nations and Barnaby wants to ensure the job is done right, he will often look to his best agent: Darryl Freehorn.
