ABOUT THE MOVIE

Welcome to Alcatraz: "The Rock" has just reopened for business, and one of its inmates is about to go to the electric chair. However, that same inmate is also sitting on a secret stash of gold worth $200 million -- a fortune that a group of commandos who quickly take over the island aren't about to let go up in smoke.

Already undercover in Alcatraz on a hunt for information that will help him find the men who killed his wife, FBI Agent Sasha Petrosevitch (Steven Seagal) is the only hope of neutralizing the situation and rescuing a Supreme Court Justice who is being held hostage. But to do so, he'll have to convince his convict "partner" (Ja Rule) and the other inmates to fight on the right side of the law.
