EVAN AND JARON TIMELINE

BIRTH

Evan: March 18, 1974 6:55 p.m.
Jaron: March 18, 1974 7:00 p.m.

FIRST WORDS

Evan: "Give me"
Jaron: "Momma" "Bottle" "Dadda" "Chocolate donut with sprinkles"

FIRST STEPS

Evan: Admitting I had problems.
Jaron: Pretty sure it was sometime before my third birthday. I don't wanna brag.

FIRST TIME YOU PLAYED AN INSTRUMENT

Evan: Harmonica. Probably around 3. I wasn't bad either ... sounded like Alanis.
Jaron: My parents said I played with the flute a lot as a kid, but didn't get serious about it until I was around 16.

FIRST JOB

Evan: Bagging groceries at Kroger for $3.70 with a bunch of really cool autistic kids. When I tried to break a record by hauling in 28 shopping carts at one time, and the chain of carts broke and smashed a few cars, they had to let me go. Too bad they didn't know what they had.
Jaron: Sold subscriptions door-to-door for the Atlanta Journal and Constitution for three weeks. I highly recommend it if you're looking to get shot for trespassing.

FIRST TIME YOU FOUGHT OVER THE SAME GIRL

Evan: When our little sister, Merissa, was born. (Let's see if that gets me a nicer present this Hanukah)
Jaron: 4th grade. I lost.

FIRST KISS

Evan: My English teacher when I was 12. She's now in prison.
Jaron: Two years old. I kissed Evan.

FIRST TIME YOU TRADED PLACES

Evan: While I was singing in the studio a few years back, Jaron took traffic school as me.
Jaron: I'm really Evan. We found out at 19 that we were accidentally switched at birth and decided to just stay who we already were.

DATE YOU GOT YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE

Evan: March 18, 1990
Jaron: April 11, 1990. Evan got it on our birthday. I was punished and had to wait three weeks. Hated my parents for that. Three days later hit a Mercedes and totaled it. Hooray for me!

FIRST TIME YOU STARTED SINGING

Evan: About three weeks before our first show.
Jaron: 17

FIRST TIME YOU WROTE A SONG TOGETHER

Evan: whatever it was, it was bad ... and not Michael Jackson "bad"
Jaron: 17. "Miss You So" ... A terrible song.

FIRST PERFORMANCE

Evan: An open mic at an old train depot in Decatur, Ga called "The Freight Room"
Jaron: Michael Kalish's house party in senior year of high school

"CRAZY FOR THIS GIRL" RELEASED

Evan: July 2000
Jaron: July 25, 2000. Broke the Top 10 in April 2001

FIRST SOLD OUT CONCERT

Evan: Hopefully, very soon.
Jaron: Hmmm. Not sure.
