Freelance writer Amy longs to take the stage as a stylish cabaret singer straight from the 50's. Unfortunately, she lacks the confidence and lives in the huge shadow of her sister, Laura -- herself an accomplished singer.

But with help from Jeannie and vocal coach Peisha McPhee (Katherine's mom), Amy not only takes the stage but knocks the audience dead with her presence and talent. Best of all, Amy's sister Laura takes in the whole performance with great admiration and pride for her blossoming sis.
