BEAUTY AND FASHION TIPS #6
Each week, Jeannie will offer up some of her best beauty and fashion tips that you can use for your very own Character Fantasy makeover!
EMERGENCY MAKEUP TECHNIQUES:
When all else fails, go for my "Prissy Pout" look. Basically, think the signature sass of character babes like Jessica Rabbit, Minnie Mouse, or Daisy Duck -- lotsa lips and lashes.
Take a curler and mascara to your lashes, and w-o-r-k 'em out. Curl each well, and wiggle your wand at the base of your lashes to get a thickened lash line, then really pull your wand throughout to the very tips. Add extra to the very outer ends for a winged out flutter.
Then pick your juiciest lip color gloss and whip on a sweet, sheer glaze. A tiny blush to bring it all together ... and you're ready to rock their world.
FIGURE FIXERS:
My best advice for the EB's (especially blessed):
Petite: Avoid the wide belt trend. If it's covering half your itty-bitty waist, you're gonna look like a magician's next saw act. Just aim for belts that take up 1/4 of your waist for that look.
Large Bust: Distract the focus on your chest by dressing up your lower half. Frilly end skirts, gaucho-style pants, low-slung belts and even lengthy chains will help bring it all together.
Small Bust: Um ... Vicky Secret's Very Sexy Bra can be almost as indulging as a Peanut Butter Chocolate Martini. I made that up. But anyway, I highly HIGHLY recommend you mini-mamas make your way over to a fitting and relish in the power of push. Bring the boy ... he'll appreciate the technology behind these things.
Short Legs: Minis are magic for you guys. Have fun picking out cute flaired, narrow, and A-line skirts. Pair 'em with lengthy leggings, and you can still get away with flats. Keep the look long with a longer top as well, don't crop with short shirts or jackets. Stretching a lot I heard works, too.
Long Legs: K, I'm not even going to answer this one because you Stacey Keeblers out there make me walk on tippy-toes. Your legs are hot and you should be doing everything you can to show 'em off.
Top Heavy: Similar to the advice for Large Bust. Avoid too many layers atop and focus on pieces for the bottom. I would avoid leggings -- ends up being too unproportioned.
Bottom Heavy: You guys get to have fun with layers on top. Vests, collared shirts under sweaters, you name it. Find a button-up top with thin ruffles that you can layer under V necks ... those are a hit!
