BEAUTY AND FASHION TIPS #5
Each week, Jeannie will offer up some of her best beauty and fashion tips that you can use for your very own Character Fantasy makeover!
TIPS FOR FIXING BEAUTY MISTAKES:
Self-tanner:
Exfoliate and buff off the darker shade of uneven skin tone to best match lighter areas. Take a body moisturizer with a bit of shimmer and blend over exposed areas. The glitz will distract from the uneven spots, at least enough to get you through the night.
Bad cut/color:
Ugh, my heart goes out to you victims out there, but you can so be the headband hottie of 'em all! Whether pulled back or down, headbands this season work for everyone. Just play bangs either behind or in front of the headband, and also take advantage of large scarf knots below the nape of the neck to divert attention from the danger 'do.
Smudged Makeup:
Besides the miracle of a Q-tip, the one thing I learned that's made life simpler when you've got that one mascara glob on your perfectly primped face, is to let the glob dry. You create a messier streak when attempting to wipe while wet, so by allowing it to dry it becomes a little solid speck that can be easily picked off. Whew! :)
JEWELRY TRENDS FOR FALL:
Simple, dangly pieces are flowing for Fall. Long chains, long scarves around the neck or head, and long drop earrings are kept to a subtle, simple flow.
