Catch USA Network's World Premiere of "Bait Shop" -- a comedy that takes you deep into the cutthroat world of professional bass fishing where the act of hooking the big-mouthed fish is as much religion as it is sport.
In the film, Bill Dugan (Bill Engvall) is a small-town bait shop owner who has to make a balloon mortgage payment of $15,000 or lose his shop to the bank. Unable to pay from the shop's proceeds alone, Bill must compete in a high-profile fishing tournament against famed angler, Hot Rod Johnson (Billy Ray Cyrus).
Bill faces an uphill battle; especially once the self-promoting Hot Rod captures the loyalty of not only the town locals, but Bill's own son, Scott. To save his shop, his family and his dignity, Bill employs some old-time angling techniques and plenty of heart to battle Hot Rod for the $50,000 contest prize.
