This Irish-born stage actor turned American film star first achieved breakout success in the U.S. with the hit 1982-1987 television series Remington Steele. Since then, he has appeared in such films as Mrs. Doubtfire, The Thomas Crowne Affair, The Matador, and Mamma Mia! But for many, he’ll always be best known as James Bond.
