The Woman in Red is an enigma. She is beautiful, intelligent, and knows Burton better than he knows himself. She and Burton met in a bar in London. Their attraction was chemical and instantaneous. They fell into bed. Their relationship proceeded in stormy fits and starts as the distance and Burton’s controlling nature pushed against their passionate and undeniable connection. Then, they broke up. But they never let go. Now after a night in Burton’s bed, she has disappeared. As if she never existed at all. Did she? Or was she just Burton’s ongoing dream?

Anna Wood stars as ‘The Woman in Red’ on USA Network’s new drama series FALLING WATER.

Wood first set foot on a stage at the age of seven in a production of Peter Pan and has been acting ever since. At 18, she directed and starred in the play Out Of Gas on Lovers Leap at the Levering Orchard Theatre. Next, upon graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the North Carolina School of the Arts, she moved to New York and landed roles in the Edward Burns-directed feature Nice Guy Johnny and Royal Pains.

Following her move to Los Angeles, she earned guest starring spots on Mad Men and House of Lies, opposite Don Cheadle. Additional television roles include Reckless alongside Adam Rodriguez and Cam Gigandet, N.C.I.S.: Los Angeles, Cold Case, Madame Secretary, Brothers and Sisters, and Deception. She also played a key supporting role in the super-powered feature Chronicle.

Anna divides her time between Los Angeles and New York and can often be found practicing guitar, piano or her newest addition... the mandolin.
