Gabe Caldwell is a small-town veterinarian whose decency, integrity and compassion rescued Sheriff Helen Torrance from her self-destructive cycle of living.

Gil Bellows stars as Gabe Caldwell, compassionate small-town veterinarian and husband to town sheriff Helen Torrance, in USA Network’s bone-chilling new original drama series Eyewitness. 

Bellows appeared in the Oscar-nominated film The Shawshank Redemption and starred in the Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning series Ally McBeal. Most recently, Bellows co-created, alongside Steve Conrad, executive produced, and recurred in the Amazon series Patriot and can currently be seen in the Hulu original miniseries 11.22.63 opposite James Franco. Bellow’s film credits include Love and a .45The WeathermanParkland, and Kill the Messenger. 

As a producer, Bellows executive produced the Emmy- and Peabody award-winning, as well as Golden Globe-nominated, television movie Temple Grandin for HBO. Additionally, Bellows co-wrote, produced and directed the film 3 Days in Havana and is in preparation to produce and direct Loose Women, a Black List film written by Jeffrey Belanger.
