WELCOME TO THE DIZZY-DISH!

Dizzy

Welcome to the Dizzy Dish, on the menu, Devon has Dodger pains, Lauren Smith has labor pains and Soel feels no pain. But what’s new with The Hollywood Ex-Wife…

The Week Devon Marsh “the Devonator” Became “the Devastator”
Devon Marsh

It was looking promising; Marsh had closed out one game, notching up another win for the Dodgers and fans held their breath. It was the game that should have taken the Dodgers into the lead, the Starting Pitcher had set up a no hitter and instead of closing it, he signaled to the coach that he wanted to swap. Some say this was the moment Marsh was finally accepted into the team, a gesture saying ‘it’s you and me taking this team to the World’s buddy’ - but then it all went wrong.

Devon’s woeful performance cost the Dodgers their chance at the World Series...ohh the pain...Devon had to be escorted to the airport under heavy guard while Cubs fans flocked the streets in mob celebration. Thankfully, no one in Hollywood cares about baseball. When the Dodgers are losing.

Well maybe there is one person who’s gonna care.

False Labor
Lauren Smith

Lauren Smith is expected to give birth at any moment and there have been some accusations that she has rented a womb to avoid the unsightly stretch marks involved in pregnancy, though the latest Lauren scandal is almost too much.

This week, while clothes shopping at Fred Segal with two of her sons, Lauren claimed her water had broken and had to rush from the store leaving a sticky mess in her wake. The store assistant was torn – ‘clean up the amniotic fluid or leave it for posterity’ – on closer inspection however, one fan tells me it had the scent, texture and flavor of apple juice! I don’t want to know.

Lapse In Concentration
Lapse In Concentration

Felix Soel has always had a party hard kind of lifestyle, but recently he’s been making efforts to settle down and focus, that is, until his cousins came to town.

Last night, Soel was seen ‘lapping’ it up in some of Hollywood’s finest gentlemen’s clubs, with his entourage. Sources inside the club say it was reminiscent of the Felix of old, the glimmer in the eye, pushing the limits, laughing like he was having the time of his life.

Wonder how his lingerie model girlfriend feels about this! Oh-oh, is this the end of Fel-Lola or does his Russian Doll have hidden depths to keep her man interested?

Shea To the End
David Shea

David Shea is coming to the end of his time at Destinies and ever since his high profile escape and return, Shea has been a lot less conspicious. Perhaps it’s the influence of Shea Wrangler Joan McAllister, a staffer at the facility. Joan McAllister had her own brush with alcoholism last year which ended in near fatal car crash.

Shea’s reps say he is commited to sobriety and McAllister’s refreshing honesty has helped him through a difficult time. Rumor has it McAllister helped Shea film the extra scenes for Kenny Kagan turkey ‘Blood Canal’. Kagan isn’t able to comment.

Bride #5
Lou Manahan

The King of The Hollywood Blockbuster, Lou Manahan is proving there is a franchise in marriage - he’s announced his engagement to bride number five, he calls her Alizee and let’s hope he never forgets it.

Manahan, head of Durango Studios, has had a tumultuous and very public love-life – but he is nothing if not romantic. Friends say Lou got down on one knee and handed Alizee a rock almost as beautiful as his words, ‘will you give me all of your mornings?’. Ohhhh, well it’s not like he hasn’t had practice!

Lou Manahan is a hard act to follow, but when you’re planning a party in Hollywood, especially the 5th Wedding of the King, it better be an affair to remember! Welcome to the lions den Alizee.
6 Degrees Of Mollywood
Mollywood

FYI...Not only was Lou Manahan the former boss of Ex-Mr. Molly Kagan, but also a former flame of the Hollywood Ex-Wife. Is that how she got a deal with Screen Classics for her script ‘Wife Goes On’?

Uh huh, that’s right, the Hollywood Ex-Wife Molly Kagan, is causing quite a stir with her breakout screenplay which is largely autobiographical...wonder who’ll play me?

Don’t be fooled, getting a film made in Hollywood is no easy feat and although Molly has been published twice, they were both children’s books (Question Boy and Happy Waters). Did Molly become a fabulous writer overnight by osmosis? And is that why she’s been hanging around with Zach McNeill? Sort of, apparently Molly is the new star pupil in Zach McNeill’s writing group which meets weekly in his SMT apartment. Molly’s in good company, others in the group include Bill Selzman noted screenwriter, Charlotte Knightley a romance author and Doug Lubans acclaimed poet.

I wonder how Kenny Kagan feels knowing that his Ex-Wife is reading stories about him to her writer friends in his building?

Umm, Molly, if ‘The Hollywood Wives’ got upset when you spilled their secrets in cyberspace... how are they going to feel seeing them on the big screen? I can’t wait!

And that is the Dizzy Dish – remember, don’t get star struck – just a little Dizzy.
