A former Marine who has become critical to the underground Resistance movement that has been growing in Los Angeles after the Arrival, Broussard uses his military training to fight against the Occupation. His ability to forge a key alliance with Katie Bowman and former employees of a tech start-up help him acquire inside information on the Occupation’s movements and investigations, which lead to the ultimate prize: a VIP visit from a RAP. He leads the assault, and they successfully capture the RAP, which brings more attention and pressure on the group than he anticipated. To protect himself, he goes into hiding.
