In modern society, video cameras can record you practically anywhere -- they’re attached to streetlights, monitoring stores and public spaces, and even embedded in computers and cell phones. And while the government (or, in Colony’s case, alien overlords) may not be watching your every move, they do have access to a surprising amount of visual information.
But if the abundance of video surveillance gives you pause, don’t worry. There are ways to recognize -- and avoid -- all the peering eyes of Big Brother. Here are some methods.
Option 1: Be Boring
How do you convince someone you’re not worth watching? Easy -– just act normal. Take the same route to work everyday, run ordinary errands, follow a typical routine. Who wants to watch that?
Option 2: Make a Sudden Move
Once you get a moment to breathe, it’s best to shake your trail as best -– and quickly –- as possible. Change your clothes, hop onto a bus, fake entry through a revolving door. Your followers will have no idea where you went.
Option 3: Be Invisible
Video cameras have become ubiquitous as technology has become increasingly advanced. New technological developments may help evade a camera’s gaze, however: Invisibility cloaks could actually see the light of day in the near future.
Option 4: Watch Colony on USA!
With a premise that features both malignant alien intelligence and a shady makeshift government keeping humanity in check, Colony features all sorts of creative ways to shake off the authorities.
