Dear Chrisley Nation:
First of all, part of the reason I watch episodes of Chrisley Knows Best live on Tuesday nights is so we can all tweet about them together. And, even after sitting down and watching last night’s episode with all of you, I still have no idea what the hell boochie-coochie is!
I mean, I can’t even with my mother and her Italian. That Enrico was a nice guy and all? But he’s a much better waiter than a tutor. Listen, the next time the moon hits my mother’s eye like a big pizza pie, Julie better get her the hell out of there!
Sometimes what I have to go through with my mother is like raising another child, so all I can say is THANK GOD she can’t speak Italian to save her life. Or the next thing you know, she’d be hitching a ride to the airport for a quick round of boochie-coochie at the casino with Gambling Guido...
In all sincerity, Julie and I are proud of Chase for following through on his internship -- and even getting his hands dirty with those crazy kangaroos. I always get excited to see my children working toward the things that matter to them. But I might wait a few weeks before placing a wholesale order on #TeamRoprah Beefy-T’s!
Meanwhile, wasn’t it ironic how Chase was talking about helicopter parenting? First of all, who knew he was carrying around big, fancy phrases like “helicopter parenting?” And, second, wouldn’t you know it? The hot minute Chase gets his own segment where he can talk about anything he wants in the whole wide world, he talks about me!
Honestly, my kids can complain all they want that I’m overbearing or too much up in their business. I’ve never aspired to be the “cool dad;” I only care about whether or not my kids are doing the right thing. Oh, and, “If I can believe it, I can achieve it?” Where the hell did that come from, Chase? You certainly didn’t get that little piece of advice from me! ;)
I hope you all enjoyed last night’s episode, and thanks to everyone who tweeted to us this week. Have a blessed week of hope, peace, and prosperity, and I’ll talk to you again next time!
Love to you all,
