Dear Chrisley Nation:
Thanks to everyone who tweeted nice things about my appearance with Steve Harvey this week! I always have a BLAST on that show and this episode is extra crazy. In case you missed it, here’s a clip of me having to give some tough love to a woman in desperate need of dating advice.
Now onto another crazy episode of TV… can we talk about what went down on Tuesday's Chrisley Knows Best? I mean, I can’t even with Chase this week. Executive, my ass! Consider yourself demoted, son. Hope you enjoyed being “leader of the pact” for a hot minute. Maybe try doing some of the work before you decide to delegate it to your 72-year-old grandmother!
The downside of watching this week’s episode (besides seeing my son’s delinquent behavior) was having to relive that “juicy” liposuction all over again. I’m sorry, but I just cannot do needles and blood. And as much as I wanted to be there to support Juicy Julie, I thought Dr. Rollins was going to need two buckets -- one for the lipo and one for me to throw up in!
Now, the upside is that I cannot tell you how blessed I feel to see my Julie doing Julie. Many of you might not know this, but she is a breast cancer survivor of three years and she’s at a place where she’s starting to feel in control of her body again. Am I happy about the lipo? Not really. But I’m just so relieved to see Julie happy and taking her life back. She was beautiful then and she is beautiful now, and this week marks 20 YEARS of being married to the most amazing woman God could have ever sent to me. Every day with Julie is a blessing and I love her today and always.
I hope everyone has a safe and relaxing Memorial Day weekend. Again, I cannot thank you enough for being a part of our lives each week. It means so much to us that you let this crazy family into your living rooms! I look forward to talking to you next week -- and hopefully sharing some exciting news.
