Dear Chrisley Nation:
First of all, THANK YOU for your support of my single with Sara Evans, “Infinite Love.” I am incredibly humbled by the response and excited to share that, as I write this, our song is a “Hot Track” on iTunes! Grayson said he hopes it hits #2 or #3 on the country charts. What about #1, Grayson?? He said, “Dad, you are never beating 'Humble and Kind' by Tim McGraw.” That boy always has something to say… but, in all sincerity, there are so many talented artists out there and for me to be in the company of the greats is a true blessing from God.
I am so appreciative of everyone who downloaded “Infinite Love,” said nice things about it on social media, or simply enjoyed it during last night’s episode. Giving Julie the gift of this song means the world to me, and I’m forever grateful to Sara and songwriter/producer superstar Shane Stevens who made it all possible.
For the first time in my life, I got a glimpse of inside the life of a country star! I went with Sara to the CMA Festival in Nashville. Friday night, I introduced her show to one of the biggest crowds the Amphitheater has ever hosted at the festival. It was beyond exhilarating to be on that stage in front of so many people! Then, Saturday, we had a meet-and-greet with fans, followed by a screening of the episode. What a relief to see the finished product. It almost didn’t happen at all because I had the flu when we were filming, thanks to Savannah’s germ-totin’ ass!
Speaking of Savannah, I’m sorry that I’ve been spamming your timelines lately, but we’re hoping that you will vote for her in the Miss Teen USA Pageant. She has worked so hard for this, and we’d love to see her win. And if that isn’t in God’s plan? Then we will be happy for whomever takes the crown in Vegas this July.
Finally, as we share this good news with all of you we are not ignorant of the fact that the world is grieving for the victims in Orlando. We grieve right along with you in the wake of this horrendous tragedy. There are no words, other than we must love one another and never forget those we have lost in this senseless violence.
Please stay safe and may God bless every single one of you. Thank you for your continued support and for being the best fans this family could ever ask for. We look forward to sharing new episodes of Chrisley Knows Best with you in the fall, and I'll talk to you soon.
