Dear Chrisley Nation:
Well, hello, hello, hello! The Chrisleys are back! And I hope everyone is ready for TWICE THE TODD on Tuesday nights.
First of all, I want to thank each and every one of you for your support of this family. You lift us up more than you could ever know and the fact that Chrisley Knows Best is back for an extended run in season five -- and now renewed for season six!! -- is truly because of YOU. We have to pinch ourselves every time we hear how our audience is growing, so believe me when I tell you: this family appreciates you all than you could ever know!
Last night was extra special because, first of all, we returned with our midseason premiere of Chrisley Knows Best (more on that in a second), and also I debuted my new show According to Chrisley! I told you that I was working on something exciting and I hope you caught the first episode with WWE Superstar Chris Jericho. (I think Grayson might have been the most excited, but I was right there with him.) I’m thrilled to share this new side of me with you, and it turns out that I have a LOT more to say than we can fit into one half hour of television!
It feels like a lifetime ago, but last night’s Chrisley Knows Best was all about Mother’s Day (and before you give me that whole every-day-should-be-Mother’s-Day crap, it already is around here!) Seriously, who would have thought that Lindsie’s yoga and oils would actually work? You know how many times I’ve put my children to bed over their lifetimes? And not one of them ever needed downward dog!
I will say that we have some strong, amazing mothers in this family. Lindsie is bringing up Jackson to be the sweetest, most caring boy in the world -- and we all know she would do anything for that child. As for Julie, I can’t say enough good things about her; there literally isn’t enough time in the day to express how much Julie means to this family! And I don’t care how old our children get; they will always need something from their mama.
As for my mama? What can I say? Chrisley Knows Best does an amazing job of showing Faye's playful side, but I have to tell you that she is also one of the kindest women you’ll ever meet. I am so blessed to have her as my mother, and I truly believe that she has instilled her compassion into all of our hearts in this family.
Finally, I want to say a word to our friends who have been affected by the hurricanes in Florida and Houston. We are praying for you every day and have faith that God will see you through this difficult time. Please be safe and know that we carry you in our hearts.
God bless and until next time,
